Covered topics including processor architecture, computer arithmetic, instruction set architecture, and assembly language. Additionally, served as Ambassador for unique outreach program. Motivating high school girls in rural Utah an area spanning 30,000 square miles is a challenge, although making meaningful impression is not. By devoting time and effort I learned how my impression made an impact on the children I mentored.

  • An ongoing project that is comprised of a Raspberry Pi and modules used to teach programming to children
Hummingbird (BirdBrains Labs)
  • During this research project it was necessary to improve the peripherals used to teach children. I designed and built a chassis for the circuit board, to allow children the ability to build a functional robot. Scratch and Snap! programming languages were used to teach middle school aged children programming.
